Duties

Collaborate closely with stakeholders and end-users to elicit, analyze, and document high-level business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives
Translate business needs into detailed requirements for AI use cases, data-driven applications, data visualization, and business intelligence (BI) reporting solutions
Empower data consumers by providing guidance and training to develop intuitive dashboards and actionable reports
Serve as a key liaison between IT development teams, data owners, and external vendors to ensure seamless and accurate data ingestion into the data platform
Coordinate with data consumers, data owners, in-house teams, and external vendors to facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) for developed datasets, reports, dashboards, and applications
Oversee vendor relationships, ensuring effective collaboration, timely delivery, and adherence to quality standards and contractual agreements
Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with stakeholders, fostering open communication and alignment on project goals
Monitor project progress closely, identify risks proactively, and propose mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery of solutions

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related discipline
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including business intelligence (BI), data warehousing, ETL development, or AI use case implementation
Proven hands-on experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, or IBM Cognos, with the ability to guide dashboard and report development
Strong vendor management skills, with a track record of successfully managing external vendor relationships and deliverables
Exceptional stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships across diverse teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively
Candidates with less experience may be considered for a Business Analyst role
