Duties

Conduct monthly revenue and cost analysis, providing insightful performance reports to business units
Assist in preparation of financial budgets and forecasts to ensure alignment with business goals
Assist in developing financial models to evaluate new business opportunities and initiatives
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and departments to synthesize data and information to facilitate recommendations and decision making
Perform ad-hoc analysis to support the needs of stakeholders and ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial information

Requirements

Candidates should possess a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a discipline related to Data Statistics
Applicants are expected to have a minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis. While experience in any industry is acceptable, familiarity with the retail or telecommunication sectors will be considered an asset
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is essential. Additionally, basic skills in Power BI, particularly for building reports and dashboards, are highly desirable. Experience with Oracle accounting systems, Cognos Analytics, and other data analytical tools such as Python will also be viewed favorably
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail. Effective communication and presentation skills to non-finance management is highly desirable
Candidates with less experience may also be considered for the position of Assistant Analyst
