Operating Practices

Supply Chain Management

The Group adopts a fair, transparent and competitive approach in dealing with vendors, including competitive bidding and tendering for the procurement of products and services. All vendors are required to register with the Company and provide relevant information, including the existence of corporate green policies. Vendors are carefully assessed before inclusion on the approved vendor list, which is reviewed and updated regularly.

Vendor selection is conducted in an impartial manner, taking into account both technical and commercial considerations such as product quality, delivery reliability, service performance and pricing. Environmental responsibility is an important evaluation factor, and preference is given to vendors with green policies that promote waste reduction and environmental protection.

Product Responsibility

The Group is committed to complying with all applicable laws and regulations relating to health and safety, advertising, labelling and privacy in respect of its products and services. As a holder of telecommunications licenses in Hong Kong, the Group implements appropriate and adequate safety measures to safeguard life and property in connection with its installations, equipment and apparatus, including protection against electrical and radiation hazards. The Group strictly complies with safety standards and directions issued by the Communications Authority.

The Group also strictly adheres to the Trade Descriptions Ordinance in the conduct of its business. Relevant employees, particularly those in sales and marketing, receive internal training delivered by legal professionals to ensure compliance. Given the nature of the Group’s telecommunications services and resale of mobile devices and accessories, the risks relating to product recalls and intellectual property infringement are considered minimal.

Anti-corruption, Anti-fraud and Whistleblowing

All employees are required to conduct business lawfully and ethically. Bribery in any form is strictly prohibited, and employees must avoid actual or potential conflicts of interest. Any interests that may conflict with the Group’s interests must be declared.

The Group has established an Anti-fraud Policy to prevent, detect, respond to and report fraudulent activities such as scams, identity theft and misuse of services. This policy applies to all employees and encourages contractors, suppliers and business partners to adhere to the same principles.

A Whistleblowing Policy provides secure and confidential channels for employees and external parties, including customers and suppliers, to report suspected wrongdoing anonymously. Reports may be made directly to the Chief Executive Officer and the Audit Committee via a designated Whistleblowing Officer. The Group ensures confidentiality, prohibits retaliation, and takes appropriate action against misconduct or malicious reporting.

All relevant policies form part of the Group’s Code of Conduct and are detailed in the Employee Handbook. New employees are required to attend anti-corruption training conducted by the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC), and existing employees are encouraged to participate in ongoing business ethics seminars.
