Assistant Systems Manager (IS-ASM)

Duties
  • Lead the Hong Kong and Guangzhou teams in studying requirements, assessing feasibility, and conducting business process reengineering and information system strategy reviews
  • Drive improvements in operational efficiency across all company functions
  • Ensure seamless operation of computer systems and applications to minimize business disruption
  • Oversee the development and support of IT projects including analysis, design, development, testing and documentation
  • Maintain close collaboration with user departments to deliver high-quality IT services
  • Assist in planning and supporting new business initiatives
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and motivation within the team, including training and skill transfer to junior team members
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Information Technology or Information Management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role; telecommunications industry experience preferred
  • Proficient in RPA tools such as Microsoft Power Automate or UiPath, DevOps methodologies, and web application development frameworks including JavaScript, Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Angular, Ajax, and SQL
  • Experience in Web Service API and Microservices development (e.g., RESTful, SOAP)
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, Oracle Financials, ServiceNow, and/or Salesforce is an advantage
  • Strong project management skills
  • Self-motivated, responsible, with excellent teamwork abilities
  • Good communications skill in both English and Chinese
  • 7 x 24 on-call support is required
